31 Days of #SexySanDiego
/Day 1 of 31 Days of #SexySanDiego -- Black's Beach! I think we're so lucky to have a nude beach in San Diego. It's warm, protected, beautiful, and liberating. Nude doesn't have to mean sexual or inappropriate, it just means nude. In the United States we tend to conflate those things, but they really are quite different. I think it's necessary to continually remove shame around consensual sexual expression, and also just around nude bodies in general. We've all got one! In the photo above, I'm pictured with some good friends who created the first ever documentary on masturbation called Sticky: A (Self) Love Story!
Obviously I live in San Diego. I wasn't born here, though, as I'm from Pennsylvania, and specifically the more rural suburbs of Philadelphia. But I've lived in San Diego for more than 13 years, and I feel incredibly lucky and happy that I made the choice to move here. I've always lived near the beach here, and enjoy a highly active outdoor lifestyle with sports and biking/walking instead of driving. It's so beautiful.
AND, San Diego is damn sexy! You may be envisioning the typical image of sexy in Southern California, of young women in bikinis. But I'm talking about sexy outside the box, that doesn't limit or restrain us. Sexy in terms of sensuality, appreciation, connection, movement, beauty, and fun! You know, we're not just classy, we're sexy ;) #StaySexySanDiego
So for the month of August, 2017, I'll be posting a photo every day of a different aspect of how I see San Diego as a sexy town. Find me on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram if you'd like to follow along this month.
