100th Episode: Wine & Sex Celebration!

I can't believe we are nearing the release of our 100th session of In the Den with Dr. Jenn! I'm hosting an event in San Diego and posted the Press Release here; please attend if you can or at least spread the word!

Wine & Sex Social – In the Den with Dr. Jenn

To celebrate the 100th episode of In the Den with Dr. Jenn, the video podcast show about female sexuality, Dr. Jenn will host a Wine & Sex Social evening on August 19, 2008, from 7-9 pm. The event at Tango Wine Company in Little Italy (2161 India Street) will bring together wine, women, men, and a discussion of Sexual Fun Facts. The entrance fee of $12 includes a glass of wine, snacks, and entertaining sexual information.

Jennifer “Dr. Jenn” Gunsaullus, Ph.D., offers women and men a new way to experience sexual communication, intimacy, and relationships. Dr. Jenn’s weekly video podcast show, In the Den with Dr. Jenn, talks about sex in an unexpected way, delving into healthy sexuality and happy relationships through a “big picture” approach. Her website www.drjennsden.com offers easy viewing of the free podcasts, as well as Dr. Jenn’s blog, forum discussions on sexual topics, and other sex-related information and education.

In the Den with Dr. Jenn garners approximately 30,000 downloads a month, and continues to grow in popularity as it enters Season Three. Sexual Fun Facts are a staple of the show, allowing the viewers to challenge their sexual knowledge about sex statistics, animal sexual facts, and various current topics. ahhh, the memories!

Congratulations Dr. Jenn and Gorilla Soapbox on this remarkable achievement!! Getting to 100 episodes is just amazing. My favorite parts were the interview with Tony at Comstock films, the two visits from the Feng Shui woman Liev, and Carol Stenger to kick off season 2 for insight into what its like for kids nowadays in regards to sexual knowledge, and how in the dark so many of them are. Thank goodness I was raised when I was with lots of imformation so I could make informed choices.
Back in Season 1, I loved seeing the behind the scenes activities of the very talented staff at Gorilla soapbox. I cried a little when the Luv Sac left, but your new studio is so much better. And whoever came up with the idea of the outtakes at the end of each episode is brilliant - LOVE that part each week! The counter tracking your potty mouth has been fun over the past few weeks too.
I'm feeling like maybe I should revisit some of these shows... maybe host a Den Party and run through all 100 episodes... a marathon perhaps... maybe we could have fans from across the country and the world host their own parties that Tuesday night and celebrate!?
While I'm not sure I'll ever need to make my own dildo like the women do in prison, I am grateful for the knowledge, plus all of the other sexual fun facts that showed me the wide range of normal when it comes to sexual behaviors and norms.
