Being comfortable with one’s own sexuality is knowing what feels good. Knowing what makes me feel sexy, and not what others tell me sexy is. So that got me thinking, is Wonder Woman sexy? She wears sexy clothing – great jewelry, shows a lot of cleavage, and those fuck-me boots. But… well, we never see her having sex. Or see men hit on her. Or her on a date. She looks like she should be sexy, but strangely, I don’t think she is.

The most important thing to remember with super hero characters, especially those drawn in comics over the past 15 years, is that they personify our innermost fantasies. At one point or another, we've all wanted to be a super hero. Wonder Woman is just like every other character in super hero comics. She is a creation of fantasy. She is strong ( stronger than Superman ), fast, smart, tall ( Amazonian bloodline ), she can fly and yes, she is physically sexy. Beyond the way she is visually portrayed, Wonder Woman is known in the comic world by her actions: protecting the innocent, bringing criminals to justice and defending freedom. In my eyes, that makes her super sexy. But being seen as sexy by others and feeling sexy are two completely different things.

And in the DC comics universe, Wonder Woman is believed to have had a romantic connection to Batman. Often hinted to in the Justice League story lines.
