Hot! Hot! Hot! Or not, not, not? Do you like porn? Is there a difference in "erotica"?
I think it's fascinating to view the difference between educational erotica, storyline, and more mainstream pornography. During our first "Erotic Movie Review Evening," the women unanimously agreed that real couples who are being filmed are way hotter to watch than "faked" pornography. What do you think?

Porn is for boys, Erotica is for chicks

So the difference, as I see it, is who its being marketed to.
Since I don't enjoy action flicks, and get annoyed when a movie doesn't have a plausible plot or believable dialogue, a typical porno gets real boring real fast. I’m curious to see what else is available, and pleased to hear that there are options out there.

What women think about porn...

One of the questions I ask women in my interviews for my first book, is their opinion of pornography, and why they feel the way that they do. The variety of responses is incredible, as some feel that mainstream porn is hot and love watching it with partners, while others think it is degrading to women, and feel empathy for the women in the films.

I've found the women in the middle to be particularly interesting...they are intellectually turned-off by it, but sometimes still viscerally aroused. Hmm...this is a pretty meaty topic here! I think I may just have to blog on it and turn it into a Den Chat topic :)

YES, I totally agree! I

YES, I totally agree! I find that "faked" porn is such a turn off...a guy puts it in, without lube, (ouch) treats her like an object and she is over-the-top faking it (like, who makes those noises in real life?), he gets off and she totally doesn't! Plus, she looks as fake as she acts....not what real life is like at all!

I find that porn based around partners that care about each other, or at least seem genuinely happy having sex really work for me!

What's dissapointing to me is that the good porn is hard to find...most of it isn't femme friendly.
